Africa, the continent of diversity and wonder, is full of treasures waiting to be discovered. With a population of more than 1.2 billion people, the Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa regions present an impressive variety of cultures, landscapes and experiences.

South of the Sahara, the Sahel stretches into the Horn of Africa, a mountainous and arid region, teeming with unique cultures and human settlements. West Africa is noted for its iconic and vibrant cities, where African culture is still alive and well. Its tropical rainforests are home to thousands of animal species.

The heart of the continent, Central Africa, is covered by impenetrable jungle, inhabited by extensive wildlife that has managed to survive the human threat thanks to well-preserved national parks.

East Africa and its iconic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point of the continent, dominate the vast savannah. Its world-famous parks are home to unique animal species. South Africa, more arid, offers equal parts nature and its iconic modern cities.

The island of Madagascar is a place of unique natural beauty; 90% of its flora and fauna is endemic. The archipelago of the Seychelles and Mauritius, along with the Comoros and Reunion, have become major tourist centers for their beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear waters.

However, not everything is nature. There are vestiges of rich ancestral cultures and there are still tribal communities that maintain their customs and traditions, always in complete connection with the exuberant nature that surrounds them.

The opportunities for adventure on this continent are enormous, as is the immense variety of flora and fauna in its gradient landscapes: travel through the desert in Tuareg caravans, cross the jungles in search of gorillas, go on safari with lions, learn about ancient cultures or relax on an island paradise in the Indian Ocean.
